(PIX11) — Juan Elias Garcia accused of gunning down a 19 year-old Long Island mom and her two year-old boy, turned himself into the FBI after a week placed on their most wanted list.
Juan Elias Garcia had actually turned himself in to authorities, when he became aware that he was placed on the “10 Most Wanted” list on Wednesday of this week.
There was a $100,000 reward for information leading to his capture, and Garcia apparently feared that he might be killed. The FBI arranged for a plane to pick Garcia up in Managua, and when he landed on United States soil, FBI agents were waiting to arrest him.
He will face a federal judge on Long Island this Monday, March 31st, to be arraigned on murder charges.
